This piece challenges the viewer to move away from the mantra of ‘he loves me, he loves me not’ to the words written around the boarder ‘you love you’. The artist encourages the viewer to take hold of the metaphorical key (encapsulated in the resin) and release her self from the daisy chain prison. This is a message of resilience and hope for balanced healthy lives and relationships.
