Hannah’s first ever range of limited edition fine art Giclée Prints!
Fine Art Giclée Print: 'Learn to Surf' Impasto
The Lamden Gallery have obtained a professional digital image of the original, to produce luxury, museum quality, fine art ltd edition prints.
The original work:
'Learn to Surf' Impasto
Mixed Media on Canvas 60cm x 60cm
Painted using hands only to create movement and texture. A sensory delight! The underlying conceptual theme of this image relates to our experience of overcoming and adapting to the recent pandemic. It was inspired by the following quote:
'You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf'‘ Jon Kabat-Zinn
This was in the context of mindfulness, which aptly corresponds to Hannah’s work with Suffolk Mind, promoting good mental health by delivering art for well-being workshops. Sadly, Quay Place as now closed and Hannah is pursuing alternative funding routes to ensure the continuation of her support provision ‘Creative Change Workshops’. Hannah has recently completed a x 12 week, digitally presented, interactive art for well-being course with Arts La’Olam in partnership with Suffolk Mind and Quay Place. This was funded by The National Lottery Covid-19 Emergency funding grants and Arts Council England.
’Learn to Surf’ will be exhibited at Peter Pears Gallery Aldeburgh 18th-22nd September 2020, as part of an International Artists of Instagram Exhibition ‘To Begin at the Beginning’. The exhibition is curated by Mark Sampson and Michele Bowden.
£15,000 : all proceeds will go towards funding the production of Hannah’s Art for Well-being, Creative Change Workshops.
